Supplier Progress in Auction
i. The first column 'Preview' shows which suppliers have previewed the event and which suppliers haven't. Example above shows that all suppliers have previewed the event. Tracking this allows you to know at what stage of the event your suppliers are at.
ii. The second table 'Accepted Invitation' lists the suppliers that have accepted the invitation to your auction. Example above shows that all suppliers have accepted the event. Accepting invitation denotes their commitment in submitting a bid in your auction.
iii. The third table 'Submitted Submission' shows which companies have made a submission and which have not. You may contact suppliers that have not submitted and find out about the delay, send them a reminder or communicate with them via messages.
iv. The fourth table 'Revised Submission' shows which suppliers have submitted their revised Bid Prices. This is done after the auction ends. The revised submission price has to equal their final/latest bid price. Evaluation can only be completed with the supplier's revised submissions. Keep in mind that the system will notify all suppliers to revise their submission after the auction, however, you can make it a point to check with them. Note that some lower ranked suppliers may delay or not submit their revised prices. Likewise, only the winning supplier will submit
These tables help you keep track of activity and responses of suppliers and allows you to check their submission progress;
- If they did/didn't receive the invite.
- Did/Didn't accept the invitation.
- Did/Didn't make an initial submission of documents.
- Did/Didn't revise their submissions at the end of the Auction.
