RFx comprises of various types of events. You should select your event type carefully, as if you do not, you could find yourself in a situation where the Bill of Quantity or the Tender Fees options are not shown in the stage where you have to enter Event Details, forcing you to restart the Event Creation and lose your data.

Once you have decided on the type of RFx to use, the next step is to create one, by selecting the drop-down at the top of the screen:
This will bring you to a page where you can create the new event.
There are three options on the page:
- New (i.e. create from blank)
- Copy from Previous event
- Create with Template.
To create from blank, click on the 'Create From Blank' box. In simple terms, you will be starting from scratch and you would need to work your way through filling all the necessary fields and then publish accordingly.
Another option would be to copy the content from a previous event, click on 'Copy from Previous' and then search for the event by name or reference number, and/or event category. This will bring up a list of events, which you can select from by clicking on 'Use This'.
The other option to creating a new event is to Create from Template.
Templates make the job easy and fast and make some items controllable by the Administrator who created the template. For instance the Administrator may have set the template such that you cannot edit the approvers.
Search for and select the template by entering part of the name or description in the search box, and selecting the template by clicking 'Use This'.
